Tony and his firm Teia Firme Lda, commenced our project during October 2015, with the understanding that we required the Villa back in March 2016. It was obvious to us that Tony had a very good working relationship with his sub-contractors who were all extremely well informed and time-coordinated. We received weekly email updates as promised. Tony consulted us on every decision and nothing was a problem if changes needed to be made. We found Tony's advice to be sound and cost effective. We flew from the UK each month to review the renovation, and we were never disappointed with the progress or quality of workmanship. Tony has an eye for detail, he brings his own design flair and experience to the project and the quality of finish was to the very highest standard. The quality of the workmanship and thoroughness was impressive and is demonstrated to the quality of home we received. In summary, the Villa was completed in time, within the agreed budget, and to a very high standard.
Tony is honest, reliable and trustworthy. He and his team take great pride in their work and genuinely enjoy renovating homes. We are currently looking for our next project and would definitely engage Tony's company again. Teia Firme has been the best builder we have dealt with. Tony was a pleasure to deal with and made the project a great experience. We appreciate his professionalism and his methodology!!

We have not regretted choosing Teia Firme of Loule, owned by Australian-trained engineer Tony Filipe, to undertake the complete renovation of our small house in the Vale Telheiro.
The firm was recommended by our neighbours who had used the company for the extensive renovation of their property and we were able to see the high quality of workmanship and impressive time management skills beforehand.
Our house was completely renovated (including new roofing, electrical system, plumbing, bathrooms, walls, ceilings, kitchen), and the old terrace on two sides of the house was reconstructured to become part of the house giving more living space and, very importantly, much more light. A small modern style swimming pool was built adjoining the terrace.
The result has been overwhelmingly positive. The small, dark, unremarkable cottage was transformed into a modem, light, comfortable home which has somehow managed to retain its Algarvian essence on the outside.
Tony had estimated the renovations to take 6 months. We were able to move back in exactly 6 months after the start of the work. There had always been much amused and skeptical laughter when we told people the works would take half a year. More like one and a half they would joke. Not so.
Last but not least a word of praise for the crew and the subcontractors. They were invariably cheerful and polite, the quality of their workmanship undisputed.
